Homes for Lambeth is proposing new homes including council level rent homes and larger family homes on three council-owned sites on the edge of Larkhall Park. This is part of HFL’s wider programme of council level rent housebuilding throughout the borough.
Site 1: Larkhall Depot
Site 1 is currently home to a semi-industrial yard and minor buildings relating to City Suburban Tree Surgeons and a long disused pub. Directly to the east of the red line boundary is an important main entrance to Larkhall Park. This is the largest of the three sites and would deliver the majority of the homes and the community space.
Site 2: Courland Grove
Site 2 is currently a car park which is adjacent to the Courland Grove Baptist Chapel. Our current proposals are for 100 percent council level rent family homes on this site.
Site 3: Courland Grove
Site 3 is currently occupied by community group facilities which are housed in low quality and dilapidated ‘portakabin’ style structures. It has a recent student housing scheme directly to the north. The community facilities will be replaced in any HFL scheme. Our current proposals are for 100 percent council level rent homes on this site.
